Te Puna Matarau | The Canterbury Screen Industry Association (TPM) is a grass-roots, non-profit organisation created by Waitaha Canterbury-based screen practitioners. We are a voluntary-run group seeking to uplift and inspire our local screen industry through advocacy, development and networking.
We have over 100+ members in Canterbury, New Zealand currently working across film, television & content creation. |
Advocacy
We regularly use our voice to lobby local government and other leadership bodies for investment, support and commitment to the economic growth of our local screen sector.

Development
We run script & project development incubators for local filmmakers to enhance and grow their craft; and to help move their script towards the next stage of production.

Networking
We support or run local screenings, events and initiatives to encourage positive connections and relationships within our local screen community.
